Lighthouse window on the Washington coast

So long and narrow! Eccentric architectue, built around 1850s? I can see the faint shadow of a handrail (nice grey tones). Was it taken from a spiral staircase outside the lighthouse?

@Sidonie: It was built in 1861 by German architect Carl Leick. The window is near ground level so I took the photo from the lawn outside. I'll post another photo that shows more of the lighthouse tommorrow. It really is a beautiful building.
